I am extremely pleased with my James River Armory M1 Garand. From order to delivery took about two and a half weeks time. In case you're wondering, that is much quicker than you'll get a Garand out of the CMP, and when you do draw a Garand from CMP, you have no real idea, beyond generalities, exactly what you're getting. Well, there is no guess work with a James River Armory Garand. After receiving the rifle and finally getting a look at the careful attention to detail that James River Armory put into the restoration, I have to say that I was very impressed. Within a few days, I had the rifle out at the range. At 200 yards, I hit the target immediately. The rifle functioned flawlessly, and of course drew comments from friends and strangers alike. James River Armory's quality and fair prices have earned my highest recommendation.
